A note on honeybee welfare
Our bees are naturally tended with love and respect on our 12-acre farm in the Hudson Valley. Their honey comes from the surrounding flowers and trees on our farm and beyond, and it changes in color, taste and texture along with the foraging landscape, from spring to summer to fall.
As nature’s great hoarders, honeybees often produce and store much more honey than they could ever possibly consume. Responsible, ethical beekeeping means you ONLY harvest the excess and never what the bees themselves need to survive (the bees come first!).
